Please Don't Feed the Monsters

I don't know about you, but I have this thing that happens in my head all the time that tells me that I'm never doing enough or that my efforts are not paying off - and it's pretty consistent and constant!

I don’t know about you, but I have this thing that happens in my head all the time that tells me that I’m never doing enough or that my efforts are not paying off — and it’s pretty consistent and constant! I could work for 12 hours and then as soon as I watch 30 minutes of TV my brain is screaming at me: ‘You’re being lazy! What are you doing?!’

I used to think the answer to solving this was just to work harder. So instead of getting up at 6 a.m. I would get up at 5 a.m. and work until 9 p.m., and I thought that would fix it. But the answer isn’t to work harder — it’s to face the monster head-on.

So in today’s episode, I’m going to be breaking down how to deal with your own monsters. You may be running away from alcohol, porn, food, drugs — whatever it may be — here’s how to kill these monsters for good.
