Creating a Better Future Through Amplifying Black Voices with Jean Charles | Relationships

For the next couple of weeks, we’re really changing up what we’re doing here with IGNTD. We want to focus our attention on what really matters and what we need to do to continue to shed light on black lives and the racial inequality in America. With all the injustice happening, it is up to all of us to step in and make a difference and amplify black voices in our communities.

Today’s guest is our new friend, Jean Charles. Jean is an actor and a poet known as the Metaphysical Moderator online. In this episode, he shares his own experiences as a black man living in America, his thoughts around the current protests, and sheds light on how to do your part in the BLM movement. He also shares some incredible stories from black history that are so important to hear, explains why we cannot be quiet during this time, and his ideas on how we can go about creating change from the government to the police force to the education in our schools.

It is so vitally important to begin proactively educating yourself on black history and the systematic oppression happening in America. We hope you will all join us in these next several episodes as we bring on more black guests to share their experiences; share their insights on the BLM movement, black history, and the ways in which we can help; and share how we can all rise together to create a better future for everyone.
