Holistic Strategies to Help with Anxiety with Ellen Vora
Continuing with Sophie month this week, we have another one of Sophie’s favorite people joining us! Ellen Vora is a Holistic Psychiatrist, yoga teacher, acupuncturist — really Sophie’s kind of person!
In her work, Ellen focuses on depression, anxiety, insomnia, women’s mental health, adult ADHD, bipolar, autoimmunity, and digestive issues. But in today’s conversation, we predominately focus on anxiety — which is a topic that is so, so important with everything that is going on in the world right now. It’s so crucial that we not only take care of our anxiety but embrace it. Ellen places a large emphasis on this and truly illustrates in this podcast that anxiety is simply just a part of being human and that our mission is not to eliminate it, but use it to our advantage!
“Being an anxious person is harder, but it’s a really high calling. Our job is to embrace it and recognize it’s a gift for all of us.” — Ellen Vora
