Is Your Glass Half Full or Half Empty?
20 years ago I used to put almost all of my effort into looking at what wasn’t working in my life. I would always focus on the pain and the things that I couldn’t do. From this description alone, most people would consider me a “glass-half-empty” kind of guy. But the thing is: that’s not at all true. I didn’t look at the glass as half empty — I just saw empty.
The whole question of, “Are you a glass-half-full or a glass-half-empty person?” already sets us up for the wrong answer, and in turn, the wrong way to look at life. So, in today’s episode, I’m going to break down every aspect of this analogy, explain why it doesn’t work, and share how you can begin to fill up your glass with liquid — even to the point where it overflows!
If this is something that you struggle with, I hope you’ll tune in to hear how you can fill up your glass and the secret sauce to truly shifting your perspective!
